My appreciation for beauty was shaped by two distinct landscapes: the sun-drenched, pine-crested foothills of the Sierra Nevada in Grass Valley, California, where I grew up, and the misty, windswept cliffs of the Mendocino coast, where I spent my childhood summers. Surrounded by places where nature feels both wild and artistic, I developed an early love for the fluid grace and timeless movement found in classical art—especially the masterpieces of Botticelli.
When life brought me to the American South, I instantly recognized a kindred spirit in its culture: a deep reverence for history, land, and the beautiful weight of family storytelling. I realized that a wedding gown shouldn't just be an outfit for a single day. It should be a marriage of these two worlds—the effortless, breathtaking artistry of bridal couture and the timeless, multi-generational storytelling of a Southern heirloom.
